Dua wanita telah didakwa melakukan tindak pidana pengrusakan setelah makam Charles Darwin dicat dengan cat semprot di Westminster Abbey pada hari Senin.

Polisi Metropolitan mengatakan Alyson Lee, 66, dari Park Grove, Derby, dan Diane Bligh, 77, dari Langham Place, Frome, akan hadir di Pengadilan Westminster Magistrates masing-masing pada 11 Februari dan 12 Februari.

Slogan “1.5 is dead” dicantumkan dengan cat kapur di makam ahli biologi abad ke-19 tersebut sekitar pukul 09.30 pada hari Senin dalam sebuah protes yang dilakukan oleh Just Stop Oil.
